The term 'hindsight is 20/20' is used for dubious reasons. The more days and hours and seconds push themselves between us, the more blurry the photos become. I remember more clearly what happened in books than in bedrooms. I used to pride myself on knowing all the little secret details that make personalities, the way someone likes eggs or their first baby word or how their parents' met. Now I know nothing and have no evidence of knowing anything about anyone.
